1. Listen to her. Abnormal bleeding, discharge, odor, itching and pain are your vajayjay's way of telling you something's up down there. If you experience one or more of these symptoms, haul booty to your gyno. You may be suffering from a vaginal infection or STD.

2. Protect her. No glove, no love. No exceptions! Unprotected sex can have some really scary repercussions. You can contract all kinds of sexually transmitted viruses, including some that may linger and eventually lead to HPV.

3. Give her room to breathe. Sure, your silk panties and skinny jeans do wonders for your booty, but they aren't exactly doing your vagina any favors. Tight clothing and materials that don't breathe, like silk and polyester, trap moisture "down there," creating a breeding ground for all kinds of yucky infections. So not cute.

4. Make her work out. Childbirth and age can be a drag on your vagina. But take heart, you can restore your lady flower to her former glory--with Kegels. The scientist for whom the exercise was named found that women who did Kegel exercises regularly were able to achieve orgasm more easily, more frequently, and more intensely than those who didn't. Ooooooh, yeah!

5. Masturbate. Masturbation often leads to orgasms, and orgasms make vaginas happy. Honestly, just do it!

6. Give her some relief. Urinating before and after sex helps to prevent urinariy tract infections, which is what happens when germs and bacteria from your vagina get pushed into your urethra during sex. Also, make sure both you and your partner wash your hands before (and after!) intercourse to prevent the spread of bacteria.

7. Don't be a douche! Or rather, stop douching. It totally ruins your vajayjay's already delicate pH balance. Instead, stick to washing only the external parts of your lady flower, preferably using warm water and products designed for intimate use.

8. Speak up for her. There are tons of old crotchety men out there trying to pass laws that'll ultimately dictate what you can do with your vagina and when you can do it. Hmm, that's not right. You're the only person who should be speaking on your vagina's behalf. Speak up on issues concerning contraception, abortion, and the wage gap.
