Researchers conducted two different studies, the first of which polled 138 men and 197 women in an online survey about their relationships and sex lives. What they discovered is that the duration of sex or foreplay didn't affect the level of satisfaction, but post-sex cuddling did. In fact, everyone (both men and women) who spend a little more time on kissing and spooning expressed higher levels of satisfaction in their relationships, particularly couples with kids.

Similarly, the second study which required 101 couples to answer questions about their sex lives every day for three weeks found that couples who spent more time showering each other with affection after sex were more sexually and emotionally satisfied. Plus, they were also more likely to still feel happy in their relationships three months later.  Yes, cuddling is that impactful!

While these results may seem a little obvious, post-sex affection, like kissing or cuddling, is often overlooked and underestimated. But it goes a long way to keeping both you and your partner happy and is just as important a part of sex as foreplay. So what are you waiting for? Grab your honey and start cuddling!
