50% of women would give up sex in exchange for this one thing

Money can't buy everything, but according to a recent survey, it can make a lot of women happy--even moreso than sex!

That's right! Though most people would probably think that most ladies would pick lust over finances any day, according to a survey done by All You magazine, it's just the opposite. In fact, 50 percent of women said they would give up sex for six months if it meant saving $2,500!

The magazine questioned 2,600 women between the ages of 21 and 59 and found that when it comes down to it, bargaining takes precedence over an active sex life! In their responses, some of the participants even said they think sex "is overrated" and that they would prefer the money because it could help "pay a lot of bills."

And time in the bedroom isn't the only thing women are willing to give up in exchange for a few bucks. As many as 74 percent of women polled said they would give up an hour of their day if it would save money. An astounding 97 percent of respondents also told the magazine that even if they were to become millionaires tomorrow, they would still search for discounts or the best deals before making a purchase.

Personally, I'm not at all surprised by the results, not because I think women aren't as sexually inclined as men (if anything, we're embracing our sexuality more than ever, thanks in large part to mainstream erotica like 50 Shades of Grey), but because as a female, I know that most girls know how to prioritize. On these troubled days when our economy isn't exactly booming, we realize that money is a huge issue, one far more pressing than any sexual desires. And for moms who are trying to provide for their kids, finances are an even more urgent matter.

Call me crazy, but if I had been given this hypothetical scenario, I would given the exact same answer, which is to forgo sex and take the money. Hey, what can I say? I've got student loans to pay off!
