Couple marry nine years after meeting through a wrong phone number

Have you ever heard the term "meet cute"? It's that moment in a movie when a couple meets for the first time in the most unusual and, of course, cute way. Well, in a story right out of a classic romantic comedy, a couple in the U.K. has married after meeting over a wrong number on the phone. Seriously, how adorable is that?! Nine years ago, Brian Woodward dialed the wrong number, reached Elizabeth Bennett and now it's true love.

If you've heard the lady's name before, that's because it's also the name of the famous character from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. That's right and, just like in the book, this Ms. Bennett found her true love and, hopefully, is going to live happily ever after.

According to BBC News, their love story began nine years ago when Brian dialed the wrong number and reached Elizabeth in what she says was a "really rude" call. I guess he felt that they were destined to be more than that awkward phone call, since he called back the next day to apologize and then arrived at her train station a couple of weeks later--and never left!

It's seriously an absolutely adorable story, isn't it? I can't imagine meeting the love of my life over a mistaken phone call, but this definitely makes me believe a little in true love. And I'm super happy for this sweet couple and their happy day, which one bridesmaid described as "filled with happiness and love."
