'50 Shades of Grey' toilet paper: Now you can wipe your butt with Christian Grey!
Well, here's a genius idea: take all of the sexual abuse, sadism, and masochism that is written in the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy--and turn it into something positive!
That's the message that a women's shelter in the U.K. is sending with their new plan. When they were donated copies of Fifty Shades of Grey, they at first wanted to torch the books in a bonfire because they do not believe that they are good for women. And then they came up with a plan to, instead, turn the books into toilet paper and have women wiping their you-know-whats with Christian Grey's seductive glares instead!

I honestly think this is one of the funniest things that has happened to the books since they inspired the Fifty Shades of Chicken cookbook. Well, instead of lighting the books on fire, Clare Phillipson, of Wearside Women in Need, has decided to turn the "vile" books into toilet paper to benefit the abused women's chary. She told the BBC her reasons:
I think we've got a culture now which has completely sexualised women and in which women feel obligated to take part in that culture. We want to draw a line under that. We will be cutting them up, using them for toilet roll and sticking them on our compost heap and they will go back into the ground... although the ideas they represent will continue.

To be honest, I can understand where she comes from. The books ARE highly sexualized. Then again, though, I also agree with publisher Random House when they say that "the sex scenes are entirely consensual." Well, whatever you think of the books, I don't think it's too bad for abused women to wipe themselves clean with donated copies of the book--that's DEFINITELY going to be more productive than actually reading them!
