Man fakes his own death in the WORST proposal ever! (VIDEO)

I don't know about you, but I've always dreamed of one of those super romantic and amazing proposals. I'm a big softie when it comes to some of those awe-inprising proposal videos that you see online. But one thing that I never EVER wanted to see is the terrible proposal done by a man in Russia who actually faked his own death!

Okay, SERIOUSLY, what was this guy thinking?! Apparently he wanted to test whether his girlfriend really loved him before he would put a ring on it and clearly the only way to do that is to make her freak out thinking he died. Um, WHAT???

I watched the video, below, in Russian and I can tell you that this man must be out of his mind. Apparently he staged a horrific car crash thanks to a movie director, stuntmen, makeup artists, and even a script writer to shock his girlfriend because he "wanted her to realize how empty her life would be without me". That's probably one of the creepiest things I have ever heard. Where's the romance?

It worked for 30-year-old Alexey Bykov, though, and girlfriend Irena Kolokov said yes. Well, after she broke down crying when thinking he was dead and then tried to run away from him, saying that the whole thing was really not that funny. He made her see the joke eventually, though, and you can see him putting the ring on her finger at the end of the video. If I were her, though, I would have probably punched him first. That's quite the shocker and certainly NOT the memory I want for the rest of my life!
