Sexy singing may be the key to President Obama & First Lady Michelle's marriage (VIDEO)

Full disclosure: I have a crush on the President of the United States. Like a full on, squealing, teeny-bopper crush on President Obama. So you can imagine my reaction to his impromptu rendition of Al Green's "Stay Together" at a recent fundraiser in Harlem--when I saw the Youtube video, I almost fainted. Yes, I know my reaction is totally inappropriate and no, I don't care. I just can't help it!

Yesterday, when First Lady Michelle Obama was chatting it up with Jay Leno on The Tonight Show, she basically confirmed my wildest dreams, saying her hubby serenaded her all the time, preferring classics like Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye. Super swoon!

Once I got over my jealousy (I'm kidding, sort of) I realized that one of the reasons I'm so enthralled with both the President and the First Lady is that they have a genuinely loving and happy marriage. They are celebrating their 20th anniversary this fall and just listening to them talk about each other and seeing them interact it's obvious that they have managed to keep the spark alive over the two decades they have shared together.

I guess that's one of the reasons I find them so captivating. They are one of the few public examples we have of a happy, stable marriage, and it's in the White House no less. I mean, it doesn't get any more stressful than that, and if they can do it, it gives me hope that I can too! That's why hearing Michelle say that the President serenades her all the time was so adorable and such a great glimpse into their day-to-day lives. Plus, she gets major kudos for handling the Mitt Romney question with humor and grace.

Does your husband sing to you?
