Teacher sexually assaults student in classroom during school hours!

A New Jersey high school teacher has been arrested after allegedly sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl during school hours on multiple occasions.

Keith McGee, a 37-year-old art teacher at Snyder High School, has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child, child abuse, and assault on the now 17-year-old student. According to the initial complaint filed earlier this month, the teacher committed the repeated sex crimes sporadically over the course of a year in his classroom during the school day. What?! How could that have happened with not one other teacher or student taking notice of what was going on?

A district spokesman said McGee was removed from the classroom after his arrest and has now been officially suspended. Meanwhile, several at the students were left shocked by the accusations, with one male student, who had McGee as a teacher during his freshman year, telling NJ.com, "It's hard to process [he would do something like that]."

The investigation is still ongoing and there are obviously lots of details surrounding the case remain unclear. Still, if the allegations are true, this is honestly a new level of low. It's bad enough that teachers seem to be engaging in inappropriate and physical relationships with their students left and right. But to think it could be going on in a classroom during the school, right under the noses of other staff members and students? That's truly horrifying to hear. I mean, parents are trusting these people with their kids on a daily basis!

I only hope that police get to the bottom of this soon rather than later and hold him responsible if he's found guilty.
