Evil mother poisons her toddler with Down syndrome using hand sanitizer

Some people really shouldn't be parents and that's especially the case for Lousiana mother Erika Wigstrom. The 20-year-old confessed to police that she killed her 17-month-old son by injecting his feeding tube with hand sanitizer. She claims she did it because he was born with Down syndrome and a serious heart defect and wanted to "end his suffering." I'm sorry, but that's a lame excuse. I really can't understand what would possess a mother to hurt her own baby. Ugh!

Not only is this woman a murderer, but she's a liar too! Back in 2012 her baby's father was arrested and placed behind bars for supposedly injecting his son's feeding tube with rum which later caused the infant to experience seizures as well as brain damage. She even told WWLTV how that traumatic experience caused a wedge between her and her baby's father.

"That baby had a seizure in that hospital bed with me and all the nurses and the ICU doctors standing around his bed, for 58 minutes. I talked to that baby the entire time, trying to get him to come back to me," she said back then, practically in tears.

But it was all an act: Not only did Wigstrom admit to police that she murdered her baby boy, but also confessed that she's the one that tried to kill him in 2012. And it wasn't rum that she injected into the feeding tube that time--it was perfume!

The baby died January 24 of this year from acute alcohol intoxication caused by the hand sanitizer. An autopsy was performed and showed that his blood alochol level was at 0.280. "The legal limit in Louisiana is .08 so that would mean almost four and a half times the legal limit," Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office Cmdr. Eric Becnel told WVUE. Wigstrom also informed police that the boy didn't die until a day after poisoning him. How can this woman live with herself?

The boy's father was charged with second-degree cruelty to a juvenille for the first murder attempt, but now that Wigstrom has confessed to both accounts we're not sure what's going to happen with him. Wigstrom however, will be standing trial and is being charged with first degree murder. If convicted she'll face lifetime in prison

I don't know how the hell this woman was able to murder such a precious little thing and I don't care what excuse she gives--she's freaking evil!
