Two people were seen in handcuffs, but it is unclear what there involvement is at this point. A suspect may be on the loose and police are searching for him; they know who he is.

Traffic around the school came to a standstill and parents where advised to stay away. If you are in the vicinity it is best to avoid the area if at all possible.

Some reports say the incident may have started with a fight in the school cafeteria. Within moments, Twitter exploded with news of the incident. My Fox Houston tweeted a very disturbing photo taken by a student that shows blood on the school floor.

My heart goes out to all the terrified students and to their parents waiting to hear if their children are okay. I don't care how many times we hear about violence at schools, it NEVER gets easier to handle.

When did our schools become such dangerous places?
