Real-life Barbie & Ken meet & it's hate at first sight! (VIDEO)
A few months ago I wrote about a young woman named Valeria Lukyanova who had altered her look to look like a real-life Barbie. The Ukranian blonde sports an impossibly tiny waist, a huge bust and Barbie-like facial features that she claims she enhances only with makeup. Strange, I know! But what's even stranger is that there's a silicone-filled 32-year-old man by the name of Justin Jedica who prides himself on looking like a real-life Ken. Match made in heaven? Not exactly! The two headed to New York City to meet on an episode of Inside Edition and to everyone's disappointment didn't really hit it off.

Inside Edition tried to play matchmaker and in theory it made perfect sense. Two individuals trying to look like Barbie and Ken, who could make a better match, right? But it turns out the two couldn't even stand the sight of each other. That's evident in the incredibly awkward cheek kiss they shared that you can check out in the video below.
Apparently Valeria was offended by a comment Justin made to the Huffington Post last year about her looking like a drag queen. "It appears to me that much of her look is added makeup, fake hair and slimming corsets. Drag queens have put on the same illusions with makeup and costumes for years," he said. Valeria fired back claiming that he overdid his lips. Though Valeria claims she has not resorted to plastic surgery to alter her looks, with the exception of having had breast implants, Justin proudly admits to the 100 surgeries he's had to look the way he does today.
The two seemed very uncomfortable around each other and even looked awkward when they were asked to pose side by side for photographs. I have to admit, I wasn't at all surprised to hear that they couldn't get alone. Think about it, two self-absorbed individuals that are completely obsessed with looking perfect are definitely going to have something to say about the other. Not to mention as cute as some people might find this to be, I couldn't help but feel a little sad for them both.
I mean seriously, putting yourself under the knife just so you can look like a doll? Justin even told Inside Edition that the reason why he has aspired to look like a plastic doll is because at a young age he was fed to believe that Ken is what's handsome and beautiful. I'm sorry folks but I played with Barbie and Ken when I was little too and from a very young age was able to understand the difference between what was real and what was fake. I don't remember ever wanting to ACTUALLY look like Barbie!
But anyhow, sorry if this non-love story left your child hold dreams shattered. One thing's for sure, we won't be seeing these two heading to Barbie's dream house anytime soon!
