Why child molesters are as dangerous as terrorists
Osama bin Laden, who was shot and killed last May, has been replaced on the FBI's top Ten Most Wanted list by an ex-private schoolteacher who is wanted for possession and production of child pornography. Eric Justin Toth, who also goes by the name David Bussone, has been on the run since another teacher in the prestigious private school in Washington D.C. where he taught discovered pornographic images on a school camera Toth had been using back in June 2008.
While it may seem unusual for a child molester to take the place of a terrorist, Toth was selected to fill one of the two spots left open on the list after bin Laden's death and famed Boston mobster James "Whitey" Bulger capture because the FBI believes he is a threat to the community. How scary!
In fact, this is what the FBI told The Washington Post, "We have every reason to believe he's committing these crimes as we speak." And since one third of the 460 people on the list since its inception have been caught because of a tip, the FBI hopes someone in Toth's community will recognize him after seeing him in the Ten Most Wanted list.
Investigators don't really know where he's living right now, but they believe he may have lived in Arizona as recently as 2009. The most disturbing part is that the former third-grade teacher, whom the FBI calls a "computer expert," is believed to advertise his services online as a tutor or a male nanny. Toth, 30, is 6-foot-3 and weighs about 155 pounds. He has brown hair, green eyes and a medium complexion. He also has a distinguishable mole under his left eye, according to authorities.
Hopefully someone will recognize him soon and call in a tip to the FBI's Most Wanted line so this man doesn't harm any other children.
What do you think about this man being put on the Ten Most Wanted List?
